Study: Preschoolers don't spend enough time outside

A new study indicates that half of 3-5 year olds are not taken outdoors by a parent or caregiver every day.

This study is the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine this week.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends children play outside for at least 60 minutes a day to help control weight, improve motor development, vision and increase vitamin D levels.
