There is a new tentative three-year contract agreement tonight for about 4,000 janitors working in Chicago.

Union members are expected to vote on the contract offer from the building owners and managers association on April 14.

The contract would include new wage rates and contributions to health and welfare plans.

If ratified, the new contract will run through April of 2015.

The janitors are members of the service employees international union.
