There's a new proposal to hike fines for reselling residential parking permits around Wrigley Field.

The stickers allow cars to park on the congested streets on game days.

Fines are currently limited to $500 for reselling the permits. But the Chicago Tribune reports that Alderman Tom Tunney wants to increase the fines to $750 for a second offense, $1,000 for a third and $1,500 after that.

The proposal is being considered by a Chicago City Council committee.
