Report: Fine hike proposed for reselling Wrigley stickers

April 25, 2012 (CHICAGO)

The stickers allow cars to park on the congested streets on game days.

Fines are currently limited to $500 for reselling the permits. But the Chicago Tribune reports that Alderman Tom Tunney wants to increase the fines to $750 for a second offense, $1,000 for a third and $1,500 after that.

The proposal is being considered by a Chicago City Council committee.
