Several people were placed in handcuffs during a loud protest at City Hall Monday.

Protesters have been angry about plans to close mental health facilities in Chicago. They demonstrated outside Mayor Rahm Emanuel's office for several hours.

There were about three dozen protesters. Six were cited. One person was charged.

Twenty-nine-year-old Matthew Ginsberg-Jaeckle will appear in court Tuesday on charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer and criminal trespassing.
