A 15-year old boy was charged with starting a fire inside a northwest suburban high school.

It happened last Friday afternoon at Schaumburg High School. Police say a custodian discovered the fire in a closet.

Students and staff were forced to leave the building. No one was hurt.

School officials tracked down the teenaged suspect, who was arrested after providing authorities with a statement.

He is charged as a juvenile with aggravated arson.
