They attended a funeral for Special Samuel Watts at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton. His body was then escorted to Wheaton cemetery for his burial.
Specialist Watts died at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Maryland. He was being treated there since he was wounded last month in an explosion in Afghanistan.
Watts earned several awards during his service including the Purple Heart.
