Omega-3 supplements might not protect against pregnancy complications after all

Previous research has led to conflicting claims about the benefits of fish oil for pregnant women.

There is evidence omega-3 fish oils may improve blood sugar control and vascular health in general.

Authors of this latest study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition are calling for more research, and say, fish oil is safe, and has few downsides, and it may still benefit pregnant women in different ways.
