Reverend James Nowak has been placed on administrative leave. There's no word where he was serving at the time of the alleged abuse.
The diocese says that parishioners will be notified. Anyone with information on the matter is asked to call the victim assistance coordinator with the diocese.
The case has been sent to church officials in Rome for review.
