Chad Chamberlin, 30, of the 4100-block of North Damen, was charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and criminal damage to property causing more than $300 in damage.
Police say the fight between two men broke out around noon. The tussle led to both men crashing through a window of the nearby Macy's.
One man was taken to the hospital.
The other was treated at the scene.
