Changes are underway this weekend for the CTA. With the transit agency's new de-crowding plan, 12 bus routes will be eliminated and two others will altered.

The CTA says the money will then go toward improving service on the busiest bus and train routes so they are less crowded.

Starting next month, the price of the one, three, seven and 30-day passes are scheduled to increase along with other fare changes.

Joining us on this NewsViews to discuss these matters and more is CTA President Forrest Claypool.
