It was a close call in Evanston Sunday when bullets narrowly missed a child sleeping in a home.

Several shots were fired into a house on the 2000-block of Dodge Avenue early Sunday morning, according to police.

There were several people in the home including two children.

Several shots went through a wall and hit a mattress on which one of the children was sleeping.

There were no injuries.

The incident may be related to a feud between two gangs, police said.
