Wrigley Field Deal: $500 million in renovations

A $500 million deal to renovate Wrigley Field could be completed before the Cubs home opener on Monday.

ABC-7 has learned the Cubs would build a parking garage and pay more off duty police to increase security before and after games.

The deal includes at least two new signs inside the ballpark, including a video scoreboard in left field.

The signs would impact a couple of rooftops but the team would cover any losses the owners experience.
