Former Plainfield teacher admits to sex with student

Twenty-nine-year-old Ashley Blumenshine of Marseilles was charged with sexual abuse after being found in a car with a male student in 2011.

On Friday, the former Plainfield North High School teacher was sentenced to 30 days in jail, probation, and must register as a sex offender.
