They're hoping to draw attention to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's lobbying group FWD.us, which protesters claim is supporting politicians who are in favor of the pipeline project.
Pipeline protesters turned out in force to greet President Barack Obama during his visit to the Peninsula last Thursday.
Zuckerberg's group was originally established with the intention of influencing the immigration reform debate.
