High winds could cause waves from six to nine feet, with some rogue waves hitting fifteen feet.
The warning is in effect all the way from Winthrop Harbor to Gary.
The advisory warns people to stay away from the water during that period and says someone caught in one of the waves could be swept out into the lake.
