Bridgette Miller is a former teacher at Chicago Vocational Career Academy accused of having sex with a 17-year-old student.
Miller lives on the city's West Side in the Humboldt Park neighborhood and is a mother of three children.
On Friday, she was being held behind bars on $150,000 bond.
Prosecutors say Miller had at least 2 sexual encounters last March with a 17-year-old boy who is a student at Chicago Vocational Career Academy.
Prosecutors say one of the encounters happened outside the school, including one in a vehicle in a nearby parking lot.
Prosecutors say they have text messages confirming there was a relationship between Miller and the student.
CPS says it cannot comment on the matter. An attorney for Miller did not return ABC7's calls for comment.
