Northwestern Hospital and the Chicago Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society hosted the "Make the Cut" hair donation event Sunday.
Donors cut off their long locks so wigs can be created for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
They then paired up with hair stylists to get a new look.
Pantene will be creating the free wigs for cancer patients.
