A privately run soccer club that's been playing there for years was trying to fight village hall.
Mayor Louis Presta argued that all children in the village had the right to play at the field.
The land had been leased to the village for more than 20 years And only the Crestwood Soccer Club used it until now.
The club plans to relocate.
