Thirty-two-year-old Adam R. Bileck has been charged with two felony counts of driving under the influence and one misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of a crash.
The crash happened around 4 a.m. Friday morning, when authorities say it appears an SUV traveling southbound on Hainesville Road veered into the northbound lanes, took out a large sign, and went another 500 feet before careening into a townhouse and hit a gas line, causing a massive fire.
Bileck will be taken for a bond hearing at the Lake County Court Building in Waukegan Sunday morning.
