In fact, some experts say best time to get toys is first two weeks of December - even better than Black Friday. Savings expert Kendal Perez says sometimes waiting can save you a little more. But she says what's even more helpful is using some money-saving strategies this weekend and beyond.
"Mobile is huge, like CouponSherpa," Perez said. "You can scroll through a list of stores, look at coupons."
And if you are a complete procrastinator, remember this year, December 18 will be your last chance for free shipping. You may not get the best price on free shipping day, but you will get your gift there on time, while not having to pay for shipping. And it is only with participating retailers.
