An internet food site says the best donut in America is made right here in Chicago.The web site The Daily Meal rated the vanilla glazed donut at the Donut Vault on North Franklin in River North No. 1.
The site says the treats were judged by freshness and also had to be soft and gooey and leave you wanting more.
