Richard Gillman, the former owner of Republic Windows and doors who shuttered the company illegally and without warning back in 2008, got four years in prison and two years of probation in a plea deal.

Gillman pleaded guilty to one count of theft for looting on Thursday, five years to the day since Republic was closed, resulting in hundreds of lost jobs and a six-day worker occupation of the facility. Nearly 50 other charges against Gillman were dropped. Judge Domenica Stephenson also fined him $100,000.

The 60-year old was taken into custody immediately.
