The Lake County coroner's office now says alcohol was a factor in a deadly collision involving a Metra train and an SUV.

Thursday night, several people gathered for a vigil near the site of the crash in north suburban Round Lake Park.

They lit candles for Francisco Carranza and his 7-year-old daughter Alyssa.

Surveillance video shows their vehicle hitting the lowered gate and crossing the track Wednesday night before it was hit by the train.
