The parent was even able to snap a photo of the incident at the Little Angels Learning Center in Pflugerville, Texas.
With the help of his sign language interpreter, Michael Keathley says that when he stopped by the daycare to check on his 4-year-old son, Robert, he saw the teacher with her head down on the desk. There were several children around her.
''I yelled out, hey, and she didn't hear me, then again I said, hey, the third time when I yelled, she finally woke up,'' Keathley said.
The daycare center's director says the teacher was on medication that caused her to become drowsy. The teacher was suspended for three days. The daycare center and state authorities are investigating.
