Illinois State Police say a firearms instructor in Bolingbrook didn't properly train people interested in getting a license to carry a concealed weapon.More than 300 students will have their applications denied. They will have another chance to become certified without paying the application fee.
Anyone wanting to carry a concealed weapon must undergo 16 hours of training.
The instructor in Bolingbrook is one of 13 who is no longer approved to train gun owners.
