College of DuPage pays president to retire early

GLEN ELLYN, IL (WLS) -- The College of DuPage is giving President Robert Breuder more than $750,000 to retire early.

The board of trustees approved the deal, which is more than three times his salary, at Thursday's meeting. He is set to retire next March after seven years at the college.

Breuder was under contract until 2019.
