Next phase of CTA's Wilson station project begins

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The renovation of the CTA's Wilson station is now more than halfway complete. The third phase of construction begins this week.

Red and Purple line riders will now board both north and southbound trains under the new-and-improved platform.

The old platform will no longer be used.

Construction on the project is expected to be complete by the end of next year.
