Local artists featured at Gold Coast Art Fair

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hundreds of artists and thousands of art lovers are coming to Grant Park in Chicago for the Gold Coast Art Fair. The festival featuring more than 300 juried artists showcases paintings, sculptures, jewelry and much more. You can join the fun June 17-18, 2017 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. This is the Gold Coast Art Fair's 60th anniversary, so one lucky attendee will win a pair of 1 carat diamond earrings. Along with the art, there's also live music, food and activities for kids.

Many of the Gold Coast Art Fair artists are participating in Amdur Productions' GREEN RIBBON project. The artist places a green ribbon on a single piece of art, and if that piece is sold, 10% of the sale will go Bright Pink, whose mission is to save women's lives from breast and ovarian cancer. Amy Amdur, the president of Amdur Productions, joined ABC 7 to talk about the Gold Coast Art Fair.
