May is National Stroke Awareness Month. Do you know the signs, symptoms and risk factors for stroke? Minutes count, so we brought in an expert to educate you.

Dr. Fady Charbel is a Professor and the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at UI Health. He is an internationally known clinical expert, researcher educator.

Dr. Charbel joins WCL to talk about the risk factors, symptoms and the treatment of stroke. Joining Dr. Charbel is Marshelle Samuels. In 2009 Marshelle had a stroke. She tells us her story, and how she turned her experience into education for others - she is now the co-facilitator for UI Health "Living After Stroke" Support Group.
