NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Metra UP-W service has been disrupted after an incident involving a pedestrian and a freight train Friday morning.

All inbound and outbound Metra trains were initially halted after a pedestrian incident involving a freight train near Elmhurst.

Metra said extensive delays are expected and to seek alternate forms of transportation.
