Worker injured in River North electrical accident

CHICAGO -- A construction worker was seriously burned in an electrical accident inside a River North high-rise.

The man was working in the building at 345 North Canal when fire officials say he came in contact with an electrical panel.

The man was rushed to Stroger Hospital.

The accident knocked out power to the building for a short time and briefly slowed Metra train traffic in the area.
