CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man who was found badly hurt in the Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood has died.

The family of 65-year-old Louis Ocasio said he died Monday, more than two weeks after he was found near West Armitage Avenue and North Humboldt Boulevard.

He was brought to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where officials asked the public to help identify him. He had been in a coma since he was found on Nov. 5.

His family said they do not know if he was beaten or hit by a car. They asked for anyone with information to come forward.
