There were three other nearby shootings. All those victims survived.
Extra uniformed and undercover officers have been patrolling the crowds at the Taste and surrounding streets. SWAT members have been ready to go and a police helicopter has been flying over the food extravaganza.
Police want to emphasize that the Taste is safe.
