CHICAGO --Some Packers fans brought their campaign to save their favorite quarterback to Bears Country. Earlier this month, Tony Marks kicked off a petition drive to urge the Packers to use Brett Favre as starting quarterback for the upcoming season. Marks was along North Michigan Avenue collecting signatures Wednesday.
Back in March, Favre announced his retirement but recently said he wants to play again. He asked the Packers to release him from his contact, but the team has refused.
Marks hopes to have 6-thousand signatures by the end of the week.
