CHICAGO --An Elmhurst lawmaker has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.Republican State Representative Bob Biggins issued a statement Monday saying he made a "serious mistake." He apologized and said he accepted the full legal consequences of his actions.
Biggins was stopped May 28th in Springfield.
He paid a $1,200 fine and will be under court supervision for a year.
Biggins' license is suspended for six months because he refused a breathalyzer.
