Daley says lowering drinking age not solution

CHICAGO Presidents from 100 universities claim that lowering the drinking age will reduce binge drinking on campuses by making alcohol less "taboo."

Mayor Daley told reporters that's taking the easy way out and that universities need to be more responsible.

"Is that going to be the motto? 'Come to my university, drink as much as you can as long as you pay tuition.' I think that's a bad message," Daley said.

Mayor Daley went on to express concerns about the health dangers of drinking.
