FBI searches Harvey police station

FBI agents searched a south suburban police station Friday.The search was believed to be part of an ongoing federal investigation into corruption in Harvey.

Earlier in the week, three police officers and one civilian employee of the department were indicted along with 11 other law enforcement officers. They are accused of providing armed security for drug transactions.

Harvey Mayor Eric Kellogg said everyone was cooperating with the investigation.

The FBI would not comment on Friday's search.
