1/2 lb. salted butter
1/2 lb. cream cheese
2 c. flour
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 pkg. pastry filling any flavor
Work cream cheese and butter together in a large bowl. Sift together flour, baking powder and sugar in a bowl. Blend together well with butter and cheese mixture. Roll on wax paper into a 2" diameter roll. Chill roll until firm. Cut 1/4" slices and roll into a ball. Place ball down on wax paper and press down in the center with your thumb. Fill with pastry filling and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 12 - 15 mins until lightly brown.
