'Hope for Sudan' in Chicago

Sunday's 'Hope for Sudan' event honored the Lost Boys of Sudan, a group of boys who fled the country after their families were killed. About 125 of them now live in Chicago.

The event also was a belated birthday celebration for the group as well, since immigration paperwork marks January 1 as their birthdays.

Sudanese native and current Chicago Bull forward Luol Deng hosted the party.

"This is great...we're from the same place. I get to do this every year .. See how the're doing...something that I love to do," said Deng.

The event was sponsored by the Chicago Association for the Lost Boys of Sudan, which provides mentoring, medical help, and other assistance to the group.
