The recent recall of Nestle refrigerated cookie dough products was a reminder to fans of cookie dough that products with raw eggs can pose a health risk. A Naperville business offers raw dough made with no eggs. (News Release) Jim Bewersdorf, owner of Cookie Dough Creations in Naperville, is urging consumers to give his product a try. "Our raw cookie dough contains no eggs and is totally safe to eat. We have been safely serving our raw edible cookie dough in our retail store, Cookie Dough Creations and our Gourmet Desserts for over 12 years," said Bewersdorf.

Another benefit to Bewersdorf's creation is that they use real butter and natural ingredients. "Our product has no preservatives," said Bewersdorf. He currently ships to customers around the country and says people can safely order it online or enjoy it at his retail store in Naperville (22 W. Chicago Ave.)

Unlike other raw cookie doughs, you cannot bake Cookie Dough Creations raw dough "It does not contain eggs and some of the other key ingredients (i.e. baking soda) that are required to bake them into cookies," but Bewersforf adds that people who enjoy eating raw dough enjoy the eight flavors Cookie Dough Creations makes.
