July 13, 2009 (CHICAGO) --Two people were injured Monday morning after an apartment fire in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood. The fire started around 2 a.m. in the 7200-block of South Euclid. A 52-year-old man suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation. A firefighter was hospitalized for chest pains and smoke inhalation.
The damage left at least 19 residents homeless. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
