August 18, 2009 (LOMBARD, Ill.) --West suburban Lombard fire investigators are searching for the source of an explosion that caused part of a building to collapse.The explosion occurred just after 9:30 p.m. Monday at 901 North Ridge Road.
The blast sent debris flying and toppled the wall of the commercial building.
Two people walked out of the building moments before the explosion. They were unhurt.
The building housed a welding supply business.
