A teenage boy who impersonated a Chicago police officer has been sentenced to three months in a juvenile detention center for violating probation. The 15-year-old boy had been on home confinement but reportedly violated his probation five times last month.

Back in January, the boy walked into a police station in uniform and announced he was assigned to patrol traffic. He signed out a police radio and joined another officer in a patrol car.

On Tuesday, a judge said that he has given the boy several chances and that there has to be consequences.
