Tillman gave the keynote address at the Go Red for Women luncheon Friday afternoon. He told about how his family was on an emotional roller coaster until doctors found a heart for Tiana.
"It was about another eight hours surgery, and she was great. She survived, and she was 2 [years old] on the 11th. She made 2 on the 11th," Tillman said.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women.
ABC7 Chicago's Cheryl was the mistress of ceremonies for the event.
