Bears' Tillman speaks at 'Go Red' event

February 26, 2010 (CHICAGO) The football player's baby daughter, Tiana, received a heart transplant last year.

Tillman gave the keynote address at the Go Red for Women luncheon Friday afternoon. He told about how his family was on an emotional roller coaster until doctors found a heart for Tiana.

"It was about another eight hours surgery, and she was great. She survived, and she was 2 [years old] on the 11th. She made 2 on the 11th," Tillman said.

Heart disease is the number one killer of women.

ABC7 Chicago's Cheryl was the mistress of ceremonies for the event.
