Study links full-calorie beer to psoriasis risk in women

Women who drink full-calorie beer may be more at risk for psoriasis.

That's the finding of a new study at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

The study shows women who have five or more full-calorie beers a week were nearly twice as likely to develop psoriasis, an autoimmune disease characterized by itchy, scaly skin.
