The 16-year-old has been missing for three days.
Bonilla is a junior at Schaumburg High School but never made it home on Wednesday.
Her family says she always calls but has not used her cell phone.
She does not have any money or a car.
"It's never happened before. Usually she has the guilty conscience, you know, calls us right back, and you know, let's us know at least where she's at or that she's OK. But so far, no call from her," said the missing teen's brother Daniel Bonilla.
On Saturday, volunteers handed out fliers with her photo on them.
Anyone who may have seen Bonilla is asked to call the Schaumburg Police Department.
