That study finds drivers spend the equivalent of more than a month every year stuck in traffic. Despite a modest increase in employment for the year 2010, drivers experienced a ten percent increase in travel times.
Los Angeles has the worst traffic, according to the report, on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. New York and Chicago tie for the slowest on Fridays at 5:15 p.m.
The study was done by INRIX, which provides traffic and navigation services.
