Voting deadlines loom for Chicago run-offs

Registration ends Tuesday for first time voters and those who need to update their records in the Tuesday, April 5 aldermanic run-off elections.

Fourteen Chicago wards -- the 6th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 24th, 25th, 36th, 38th, 41st, 43rd, 45th, 46th and 50th wards-- are still up for grabs. Deadlines are as follows:

March 29: In-person registration for first time voters and those who want to update their records is available at 69 W. Washington St. on the 6th floor until 5 p.m.

March 31: Last day for Early Voting, which is offered at 17 sites in the city from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

March 31: Absentee ballot applications due to Board of Election.

April 4: Last day to vote absentee in-person at 69 West Washington. Hours are Friday, April 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to noon; Monday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
