World Give Day was started in 2010 by GiveForward and Ethan Austin with the group was in our ABC7 studio to talk about the event. GiveForward provides easy-to-use fundraising pages, so people can raise money for a loved one facing a medical crisis.
For this year's World Give Day sites that specialize in areas such as medical, educational, social entrepreneurship and non-profit crowdfunding are coming together. You can get involved by donating to your favorite non-profit or a person in the community, or by volunteering.
