Before the rain hit there was really no excuse to not get outside earlier Saturday.

There is plenty going on, including the first ever Sausagefest Chicago happening in Lakeview right outside Wrigley Field.

In addition to showcasing the encased meats from local shops, the street fest features arts, crafts and live music.

Hundreds of people were up early getting their sweat on at Millennium Park.

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, along with McDonald's, are hosting Saturday workouts all summer long. Participants can try yoga, pilates and zumba.

Water was a must on a hot Saturday morning.

Thousands of people in pink are making their way around Chicago this weekend, taking part in the ninth annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

Participants are walking 39.3 miles to raise money for breast cancer research and access to care.

A closing ceremony is planned for Sunday morning at Soldier Field.
